Thanks to this partnership, Easy to Change now integrates collection provided by clikeco, present across France, into its offering. Equipped companies and local authorities benefit from complete tracking: quantity collected, origin, final destination — rigorous traceability that meets growing environmental-responsibility requirements.
What the partnership secures, concretely
- The logistics partners provide regular collection of cigarette butts at Easy to Change sites in France. Equivalent licensed partners are activated across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland.
- The operators are licensed for hazardous-waste transport, mandatory for cigarette butts, classified as hazardous waste due to their content in nicotine and toxic substances.
- The partnership secures the issuance of waste transfer notes via the official national platforms (Trackdéchets in France, with equivalent national digital systems in the other countries covered).
- This traceability documents the value chain for clients' CSRD, Ecovadis and ISO 14001 audits.
A holistic approach, from awareness to collection
Easy to Change provides comprehensive management of the cigarette-butt issue, built around three pillars:
